The inspiration for these albums, comes from my years of running the Have a Nice
Day Store, in Notting Hill, London. I was always looking for interesting music
with a steady tempo and ended up having to put together my own compilations to
create the atmosphere I wanted. This regularly triggered the question “ What is
this music and where can I buy it?” Velvet Grooves, now…. available to you too,
is designed to be played again and again, a collection of eight hours music,
released on Handspun records, which started out as one of our original t-shirt
ranges.
